Implement the 20-20-20 rule to give your eyes a rest. Roughly every 20 minutes, take a 20 second break and watch something 20 feet away. If using a mobile device, make the font bigger so you can use it at a distance more gentle for your eyes.
Also try to keep the brightness of your monitor to a resolution that is not too bright or too dim and place your monitor right under eye level to reduce any pressure on your eyes. You should also speak to your eye doctor about computer glasses.
